My Set up

Postby Pappy on Wed Nov 04, 2009 1:29 pm

I'm running my Bird through a Mesa Boogie 5:25 Experss w/ an on board 10" black shadow speak.
I just put a 12" Texas Heat in an Epi Valve JR cab, so I can use either speaker by itself , or both together. Both speaks are
8 ohm's
Out in front I have an ancient Cry Baby that I rebuilt about a year ago and a MXR Carbon Copy.
I'm real happy with the wide variation in tone I can squeeze out of this rig.
Sounds great with all my other guitars, too.

Yeah, I really dig the little Boogie.
I had a BH5H Little Giant head and a mid 90's Fender HRDX that I sold when I got the Boogie. I didn't really need either anymore.
She's easy to lug to practice and sounds great in either the 5 watt, or 30 watt mode.
Once I got the Texas Heat installed in the Epi cab, I put the amp and the extension speaker through whole course using my Bird, while Mamma was gone for the day. Holy Shite!!!! Great clean tone all the way through extreme burn.
Still thnking about replacement pups for the 'Bird, though!
