recovering les paul addict...been playing pauls all my life and just bought a firebird V a few months ago. man, am i in love. can't put the bird down, hence my les pauls are now gathering dust (well, sort of). i'd like to see what all the fuss over sd antiquities is all about to see if they will give me a more vintage 'bird tone. i have seen the pickup page comments and was wondering if any other 'bird players would care to elaborate on pickup changes to their fb V's. nice to mmet you all. thanks, mule13

Glad to have you with us! You're definetly among friends & fellow fanatics! While I am still waiting on a custom set of 3 minis for my podded FB V, I like the standard Duncan vintage model(changed covers, OF COURSE!) very much, but admittedly haven't tried the Ants.
Let's continue this in the proper forum areas though, OK?
