Just wanted to introduce myself.

Welcome Ed,glad to have you!
Is that a Gibson Explorer? The "horn" looks a little pointier, but could just be the angle. Pretty sweet anyway!

Tony,

it is a Gibson Explorer. It's a 1984 designer edition. It used to have these weird decals under the laquer, but the decals started to curl, causing the laquer to crack so I had it refinished. I think the angle and lighting/background may have something to do with the "horn" looking pointier than normal.

I think it might have been the contrast between the black guard & white body that had me thinking it was pointier. Nice guitar!
