Greetings From GA!

Greetings From GA!

Been a fan of Firebirds for a long time now. Just don't want to pay a new Gibson price.

I used to work in a music store, should have bought one then, but that's another story.

Looking forward to chatting.

Your among friends here!

They seem to sell for very reasonable used... worth keeping your eyes open ;)

Welcome!
My advice: Get your cash together, hold on to it & keep searching! Every once in a while a deal, or even a steal shows up...& you JUMP! This is a great time to buy & a lousy time to sell...just like real estate.
I'll keep you in mind if I see something. Gibson only, or would you consider a good copy, like a Greco, for instance? I had one & it was sweet! I only sold it because I needed a new amp & was offered $800 for it, & only paid $300 for it. The guy even knew what I paid for it, but HAD to have it!
Again,glad to have you here!

Thanks for the replies.

Gibson would be the first choice That Zebrawood special run looked great! I prefer Desert Burst but Vintage is nice too.

I would consider a Greco or an Orville. Just as long as it's a neck through like a Gibson and of course mini's.

To me, 'birds are all about mini buckers!

I'm right with ya on the minis, but the Greco's are set-neck & I THINK Orville's are too, but not positive.

Really?

Well, if they are, I'll just have to make the call when I come to that bridge.

Set neck is better than bolt on.

We might be talking in the near future about that.

Small luither built is much better than Gibson built anyday of the week.
